This session aims to enhance understanding of prevalent mental health conditions, such as anxiety, depression, and other common mental conditions. It explores the prevalence of mental health conditions, as well as how to spot the symptoms of common mental health conditions, available support, and offers some options for interaction and engagement.

The session fosters awareness, reduces stigma, and promotes early intervention strategies to create a more supportive environment with direct links to the workplace and a section discussing how common mental health conditions impact employers.

This session was designed for a wide range of people including educators, professionals, and community advocates, it is really aimed at anyone interested in understanding more about common mental health conditions.

Charlotte Draper is a Business Research Associate at Bishop Grosseteste University and a dedicated NHS professional, nearing the completion of her MEd in Psychology in Education. With extensive experience in healthcare and mental health support, she is committed to advancing research and practice in mental health across the lifespan. Her expertise encompasses psychoeducation and evidence-based interventions for common mental health conditions, applications of mental health support in educational contexts, and systemic approaches to improving mental health outcomes in professional and community settings.

Sessions though the Greater Lincolnshire Social Economy Academy are primarily aimed at Staff, Volunteers, Trustees and Board members of Voluntary, Community, Faith, Social Enterprise (VCFSE) organisations, we also welcome purpose driven organisations with a clear social or environmental mission.

Organisations must have a registered business address operating in an eligible geographical district area & complete a business enrolment form.

Organisations in the following areas are eligible to enrol and participate in GLSEA sessions:

  • East Lindsey
  • West Lindsey
  • Boston
  • South Holland
  • North East Lincolnshire
  • North Lincolnshire

In addition to booking a ticket on Eventbrite, you will be required to complete a Business Enrolment Form to confirm eligibility and provide data required by our funders.

When will I receive the MS teams link to join the session?

The MS teams link is sent out approximately 48 hours before the event start date. However, entry to the session is subject to eligibility and a completed business enrolment form. The business enrolment form can be found here: https://forms.office.com/e/X1XQE9nMu3

What happens if I cannot complete the business enrolment form?

If you do not complete a business enrolment form before the session start time there is a possibility you will not be allowed into the session as you will not count as eligible. If you are having any problems completing you business enrolment form please email GLSEA@bishopg.ac.uk
