About this event

Spitfire, Whitstable Bay, Bishops Finger. Regulars at our monthly pub meet-up will be familiar with these well-loved beers. We start our awayday with a two hour tour of Britain's oldest brewery, Shepherd Neame, which concludes with a beer tasting. Our hosts will ensure that their working steam engines will be working for us.

At 3pm, after local lunch somewhere nice (not included in ticket price), we will explore historic Faversham, led by local guide Martin Brooks finishing at around 5pm.

It is recommended that we curtail the two hours allocated for lunch break to have a look at the Faversham Town Charters including a 1300 Magna Carta and also pop into the Fleur de Lis town museum.
