AWOL Studios Open Evening
Explore over 80 studios at one of the largest creative communities in the North West. Across 4 floors of Hope Mill, you’ll find painters, sculptors, textile artists, filmmakers, illustrators, photographers, printmakers and more.
This is a chance to step inside the working studios, meet the artists, and see the spaces where ideas come to life. You’re welcome to simply have a wander, chat to residents, or if something catches your eye, to buy or commission work directly.
As part of the evening, we’ll also be showing our Residents’ Exhibition - a showcase of work from across the AWOL community - alongside our neighbours on the 5th floor, Comme Ca Art, who will be hosting an exhibition too.
The Open Evening is one of our biggest events of the year - a celebration of the incredible creative community here in Ancoats. Whether you’re an art collector, a curious neighbour, or just looking for an inspiring Friday night, all are welcome.
