AWS DeepRacer gives you an interesting and fun way to get started with reinforcement learning (RL). RL is an advanced machine learning (ML) technique that takes a very different approach to training models than other machine learning methods. Its super power is that it learns very complex behaviors without requiring any labeled training data, and can make short term decisions while optimizing for a longer term goal.
The AWS DeepRacer League returns for 2022 with new divisions and more opportunities to win than ever before! The 4th season of the AWS DeepRacer Virtual Circuit launched on March 1, 2022 and continues through October. Train and race models inside the AWS DeepRacer console from anywhere in the world for your chance to win prizes.
The inaugural AWS DeepRacer Student League also launched on March 1; students can now sign in to deepracerstudent.com to learn machine learning, train models, and compete against other students from around the globe without the need to create an AWS account.
Finally, the AWS DeepRacer League Summit Circuit returns to AWS Summit events around the globe in 2022. Train your model to conquer the new AWS Summit Speedway, and compete in-person with autonomous RC cars on the longest physical track in AWS DeepRacer history.
We will be hosting a LIve Deep Racer event the 14th of July in support of the West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA) is partnering with Amazon to host a Logistics Jobs Fair. The event will be held on Thursday 14 July at The Hawthorns, West Bromwich Albion FC.
The Jobs Fair will feature 20-30 organizations from the logistics sector and will allow local employers to engage with residents and discuss the employment opportunities available now. In addition, AEB training providers will also promote the training opportunities available.
The event will be open 9:00am – 1:00pm to the public. Racing will kick off quickly so please come prepared and we look forward to seeing you!
