Join our team in store for this guided session in bowl turning.
You will be guided step-by-step in the preparation of your bowl blank right through to the turning and finishing of your bowl, which you get to take home at the end.
You will learn the basic skills required for faceplate turning. You will focus on chisel techniques for roughing down and refining your blank, using a range of woodturning tools, making this is the perfect course for anyone wanting to expand their basic woodturning skills.
All materials and PPE will be supplied.
The course is being offered at an introductory price: £100 (usual price £150).
Please note the following:
- Some prior knowledge or experience of woodturning would be advantageous, but is not essential.
- Course attendees should wear suitable clothing and sturdy footwear.
- This course is not suitable for children below the age of 13.
- Children over the age of 13 can take part but should be accompanied by an adult.
- There will be a short 30minute break during the course where refreshments will be provided, but please note lunch is not included and should be brought along by attendees.
