Aye Thrive x Edinburgh Tool Library

Join us at the Edinburgh Tool Library Custom Lane Workshop for a beginners introduction to woodwork and the use of hand and power tools.


Make a planter!

You will learn about the tools involved, how to shape and join wood and have fun in the process while making a spring planter. The hope is that by the end of the class you will have an understanding of basic woodworking techniques and skills, as well as having something you have made to take home.


Meeting point: Custom Lane, Tool Library Workshop

Meeting time: 09:50

What to bring: Wear tight clothing, no loose sleeves, trouser legs tucked into socks vibe, hair tied back. Bring a tasty snack as we will take a break in the middle and have a cuppa.

What will be provided: Tools, materials, encouragement, patience!
