Ayuda a Venezuela: concert to raise funds for Venezuela.
Fearturing Luzmira Zerpa with 4Tambor (Afro-Venezuelan folk) and
Latin American Community Choir.
Venezuela is currently going through a humanitarian crisis. The IMF predicts that inflation will reach 1,000,000% this year. People are not able to afford food, medicines and other basic goods. 2.3 million people have migrated to neighbouring countries and beyond since 2014 in search of a better life.
The money raised in this event will, after paying for costs, go to the following charities: barriguita.org and healingvenezuela.org
Headliners (9PM)
Luzmira Zerpa with 4Tambor
Renowned singer/Multi-instrumentalist Luzmira Zerpa (Family Atlántica), joins forces with 4Tambor, an Afro-Venezuelan folk music collective featuring award-winning percussionist Ernesto Marichales (Wara, Telajeta), multi-instrumentalist and singer Baldomero Verdú (Tonto Malembe) and Henry Bravo (Afro-America Project), with the collaboration of Elizabeth Nott (Karama, Maya Youssef Trio) and Lya Guerrero (Animanz, Wara).
Expect an exotic fiery sound of traditional "tambores" (drums), maracas, cuatro and song!

Latin American Community Choir
Lead by amazing singer Luz Elena Caicedo (Conjunto Sabroso), the LACC brings together people from the community to enjoy singing the beautiful and varied repertoire of Latin America, from Venezuela to Argentina.
There will be a raffle, at the end of the event, to win a bottle of one of the best rums in the world, Diplomático. Ticket for the raffle £3
Doors open at 7PM
Early Bird event entrance: £7.50 (+ online service fee) until 1st November. £10 afterwards and at the door.
