In this lecture Ana will be speaking about the politics of architecture practice, specifically when it is focused on working with marginalised groups and co-producing public spaces for expresión in cities in different regions of the word, including Latin America and the Middle East. Ana’s lecture will be a demonstration on how to connect communities with design, art with architecture and critical work with politics and activism.

Ana López Ortego is an architect with a PhD in Art and Territory History, and co-founder and co-director of Arquitectura Expandida. She works as a lecturer, advisor, and artist across Latin America and Europe.
