This interactive session will give you a taste of studying part-time on our Applied Education Studies degree

About this event

You will learn how the degree operates, you will find out more about how you will learn as well as hearing from students at varying stages of their studies about their experiences. There will be an opportunity to have your questions answered and to meet the local hub co-ordinators from Peterborough, Putteridge Bury (Luton) and Bedford.

BA (hons) Applied Education Studies.

    • A four year, part-time degree designed for those already working or volunteering in the education sector in support roles such as, teaching assistants, instructors, HLTAs, nursery nurses, sports coach or classroom volunteers

    • An ideal opportunity for anyone wishing to combine work and study. The degree is term time only and attendance one evening or day per week.

    • Taught at three locations Bedford, Peterborough and Putteridge Bury in the evening. A day session is offered at Putteridge Bury.

    • The degree enables those with experience of working with pupils to build upon their existing skills and competencies through academic study.

    • An ideal route for anyone who aspires to teach and wishes to apply for an initial teacher training place to gain Qualified Teacher Status after graduation.
