BA (Hons) Theatre Practice Open Day

Central will be opening the doors of The Embassy Theatre for a BA Theatre Practice Open Day on Tuesday 4th July 2017.
This event gives you the opportunity to find out how study is enabled via practice on student productions, industry placements and mentoring from Central's permanent staff and vast body of visiting practicing professionals. There will also be an opportunity to take a tour of the campus, talk to current students and staff members about the course as well as a Q&A with Admissions, Student Advice Service and the Students Union.
About BA (Hons) Theatre Practice
The BA (Hons) Theatre Practice course is comprised of 12 specialist courses that offer you the chance to hone your skills in your chosen field. If you're considering pursuing a degree in Costume Construction, Design for the Stage, Performance Arts, Production Lighting, Prop Making, Scenic Art, Scenic Construction, Stage Management, Technical and Production Management, Theatre Lighting Design, Theatre Sound or Puppetry; Design and Performance, then this open day is an opportunity to investigate how these courses operate.
Please note there is a limit of three tickets per booking (one visitor and two guests) due to the amount of attendees expected.
The Open event will start promptly at 2.00pm, please aim to arrive 10 minutes before. Any latecomers may be refused admission.
Please note - if you wish to apply for BA (Hons) Acting, this event will not provide you with information on your course of interest and no staff or students will be around to talk to you about this area of study. All students applying for BA (Hons) Acting will be invited to an audition; the audition doubles up as an Open Day.
