If you do not meet the standard entry requirements to apply to one of our three-year degrees (perhaps you’re a mature student or missed out on education) and are considering the BA Social Science foundation year as a gateway to a degree, this event will introduce the four-year degree programme and the people you will work with.

The event will cover:

• The course – what you will study and how we will support you.

• How you can enhance your experience as you progress through the four-year programme – options include work placements, studying abroad and volunteering.

• Entry requirements, personal statements and applying.

• Student perspectives – current students chatting about their personal experience of the programme.

• Life as a student at Leeds.

• Q&A – opportunities for you to ask any questions you might have.
