BAAF Career Development Programme 2017 – 2018

Run by professional bodies and your careers advisers, this series is designed to enable you to succeed in securing employment and work experience. Think it’s too early to start? More than four-fifths of organisations held events during the 2016-2017 recruitment round specifically for first year students*

25-Oct S2/3 Skills for recruitment run by ICAEW

01-Nov S2/3 Making Career Decisions

29-Nov S1/2 Mapping Skills Development

6-Dec S2/3 Ethical Practice run by CIMA

14-Feb S2/3 Commercial Awareness run by ICAEW

S = Stage of study

All sessions run 1pm – 3pm

Why attend?

  • Students applying for paid work placements during their first or second year at university are selected through a very similar recruitment process to that used to recruit graduates.**
