What is this training?

Taking you through the journey of the life of a toddler, we examine the emotional development, alongside the brain, social and cognitive development and consider how to optimise this critical stage by supporting the parent-child relationship, so that toddlers and pre-schoolers can develop into emotionally healthy children and adults. We explore the everyday challenges of being and raising a toddler and consider how we can use relational-based approaches in our work with toddlers and their families. This interactive, face-to-face training aims to help you:

· Understand brain development during infancy and how experiences can shape this.

· Consider current models of attachment theory and how these can be applied within your every-day work.

· Enhance your awareness of infant-caregiver interactions.
