Inaugural Babraham Research Campus Flow Club
Are you currently using Flow Cytometry at the Institute or in your Company or are planning on using it in the future? With the advancing technology behind Cytometry making cytometers easier to use, there are more and more cytometers on the Campus. The Babraham Institute Flow Facility, is setting up a Campus Flow Club so that we can all share common experiences of cytometers, assays and even dealing with cytometry companies! The meetings will be informal and will help us to build a strong Cytometry network within the Campus.
All people interested in Cytometry are welcome to join us for our monthly lunchtime meeting. These will be informal meetings with lunch provided. We are aiming to host them on the first Monday of the month, with the first one on Monday 7th November at midday in the Brian Heap Room, Riverside meeting rooms.
We are asking people to register so we know how many people to cater for.
We would like to ensure that these meetings are useful for all so will be asking for ideas of topics for discussion at the meetings and for volunteers to lead those discussions.
The first meeting will be a chance to meet others from across the campus who are using Cytometry. We will discuss what cytometers people have or use regularly, and what people are assaying or looking at using Cytometry. There will also be an introduction to the resources available in the flow facility.
