Join us as we walk with lanterns from Custom House down to Flow Orchard. The walk will take around 20 minutes and lanterns will be provided. If you'd like to, you can bring additional items for the w...

Ribbon Tying


Join us in Flow Orchard to tie ribbons on fruit trees in remembrance of babies gone too soon. Ribbons, lanterns and some light snacks will be provided.

This is a community event organised by Devon Maternity & Neonatal Voices Partnership - DMNVP - and is open to anyone to attend.

Agenda

4pm - 4:15pm

Meet Outside Custom House. We’ll be wearing high visibility vests and will provide lanterns.

4:15pm - 4:45pm

Group Lantern walk along Exeter Quay

4:45pm - 6pm

Meet in Flow Orchard for Ribbon Tying. We’ll provide snacks and ribbons. You can just join us for the ribbon tying if you prefer.

Important Information

  • The walk is flat and takes approximately 20 minutes. We will walk at a slow pace to accommodate everyone in the group.
  • The ground at the orchard will be uneven and is unfortunately not wheelchair accessible
  • The nearest toilet will be at Topsham Brewery (approximately a 10 minute walk from Flow Orchard)
  • As this event is in evening it will be a little dark, cold and potentially damp and muddy so please bring warm clothes, sturdy footwear and torches
