About this event
Baby Loss Awareness Week event
This event is a special inter-generational gathering to honor and remember babies and infants who have left us too soon. Join us at Cranage Hall for an afternoon filled with support, remembrance, and healing. Connect with others who have experienced a similar loss and participate in activities dedicated to remembering and honouring your lost little ones. Together, we can create a safe space to share stories, memories, and emotions.
More information is being added all the time as activities are confirmed, please keep checking back for updates.
Frequently asked questions
This event is for anyone who has experienced pregnancy or infant loss, at any time in their lives, either directly or indirectly and who live in Cheshire. We would love this to be a truly intergenerational space where the shared experience of infant loss brings us community.
No - from 0-99 (and beyond) anyone who has experienced pregnancy and/or baby loss either directly or indirectly can come to share their love of our lost little ones.
We are planning to create a space for people to display pictures or messages to their baby(s) and also starting a community memory book that will be kept safe and on display at our next event in 2026. You don't have to do either of these things, but please bring photos or keepsakes if you do.
Yes - teas/coffees and light refreshments will be on offer
We are aiming for this to be a relaxed, welcoming environment, where you can participate as much or as little as you feel able. There will be activities on offer where you will have something to take away with you and lots of information to support you and your family.
Yes - the costs of this event have been covered by the Mid Cheshire Hospitals Charity - Lost Little Ones, The Lenny Tench Foundation, SANDS and the Central Cheshire Maternity and Neonatal Voices Partnership
Either! It's helpful for us if you do register via this page, so we have an idea of numbers, but if that's not possible or you're reading this the day before - please do just turn up - we'll be very happy to see you
Please don't worry if you are coming on your own, you will be welcomed by one of our volunteers and the rest of the day is designed for you to meet and connect with other attendees as much as you like. If we can support you in any way please contact us on contact@centralcheshiremnvp.co.uk
No - we'd love you to stay, but if you can only drop in for a short time, or you feel you can't stay once you arrive, you're in charge!
