Baby Massage 5 Week Course, Bramble Hill CC - April/May

This is a 5 week course where you will learn baby massage techniques in a relaxed and informal environment.
This session is for families with children under the age of 5 who live within the Royston and Villages and Bramble Hill Children's Centres catchment area. If you are unsure whether you live within this area, please click here to check your postcode
Date of the sessions are: Fridays 21st & 28th April and 5th, 12th & 19th May. You are booking once for all 5 sessions.
£20 per parent and child.
Please book places for you and your child. Please bring three small towels (hand towels would be fine). Handouts and massage oil provided. We use organic, cold pressed vegetable massage oil with added vitmain E.
Small groups with the opportunity to share experiences and make new friends.
Suitable from babies from birth to pre crawling (unless baby is happy to still lay down). If your baby was born before 37 weeks then you must speak GP to see if there is any reason why massage cannot take place. Premature babies must also be older than their due date. Also, if your baby has got any medical conditions or on any medication then you must check with your GP or health visitor to check if there is any reason why you cannot massage your baby. It is best to avoid baby massage for 48hrs after vaccinations. However we would still encourage you to come along and watch the session.

DIRECTIONS TO VENUE:
Bramble Hill Children's Centre is signposted from London Road into Aspenden Road, Then signposted again - second right hand turning into Luynes Rise. Then first right into Mill Close. The centre is on the left hand side, built on the side of Seth Ward Community Centre.
There is large car park next to Seth Ward Community Centre which can be used. If the car park is full, then you can park on Luynes Rise.
There is a slope leading up the centre for buggies or disabled access. Please leave buggies outside the centre as there is limited space inside.
Please press the entry button on the left hand side of the door and someone will let you in.
Toilets and baby changing facilities are available. Changing mat provided.
You are very welcome to feed your child in our centre.
