Parents may feel they need to follow textbooks and specific rules to be good parents. We want help them recognise that they have all it takes to be the real experts of their babies. By using science-based facts and up-to-date research discoveries, the aim of this workshop is to show that there's no clear user manual to follow during your journey from pregnancy to parenthood.

This workshop is aimed at parents-to-be and parents of babies under one, and will be led by child development researchers from the Essex Babylab together with practitioners and health professionals working with young families. We are joining forces to facilitate parents' journey from pregnancy to parenthood through a better understanding of child development "from the womb to the world".

Can I bring my child along? Of course! However, please do let us know if you are planning to bring your child along and how many of them we should expect, so that we can plan ahead for catering and toys.

Where should I go on the day? Details on how to reach the University of Essex are on the University website. Parking is free for all our event attendees. We will provide details of where to park and where the event will be held nearer the time.

I can't come anymore... If you are no longer able to come, please release your ticket so that someone else may take your place.
