If you missed last year's concert, don't fret because 'Bach in the Park' is back for a second year...
Returning to Llandrindod Well's gorgeous Rock Park, the Red Dragon Ensemble are delighted to bring you another concert of easy-on-the-ear music, this year with all proceeds being donated Mid & North Powys Mind. The ensemble is made up of 15 musicians from across Mid and South Wales, and all are delighted to be coming back for a second shout!
The concert takes place on Sunday 17th August @ 3pm under the canopy in Rock Park. Programme will include music from Bach, Vivaldi, Handel right through to a few more moderns tunes that you're sure to recognise - all very light, and perfect for a relaxing Sunday summer's afternoon!
You can buy your tickets here (note: eventbrite adds a small booking fee which they keep) or if you'd prefer to pay with cash, just pop up to the Lakeside Boathouse at Llandrindod Wells Lake or to the Chalybeate Teamroom in Rock Park (please check opening times before setting off - Home - Lakeside Boathouse / www.facebook.com/people/Chalybeate-Tea-Room). Suggested donation for tickets is £15, but as before we want as many people as possible to come and enjoy the event so if you can't afford to pay full price, please just pay whatever you can and come along - your company is just as important as how much money we raise!
Please note:
I’ve set this page up to register donations as opposed to a fixed ticket price to fend off eventbrite’s attempts to change a hefty booking fee, but please remember you’ll need to make a separate transaction for every ticket you’d like to buy. If you cough up 30quid in one go, eventbrite will only give you one ticket and just assume you’re being super generous.
For those of you from out of town, there is a massive difference with the venue from last year with the arrival of the fabulous 'Chalybeate Tearoom' - they are kindly hosting us this year and will be open before and after the event. Please do get in touch with them to find out more...
