Sounds of Splendour is a trio of talented musicians who offer a unique blend of trumpet, voice and keyboard in performances that delight audiences of all ages. The three friends draw on a wealth of collective experience and enjoy performing a repertoire which ranges from the baroque to contemporary pop. With pieces arranged for various trumpets, soprano voice, piano and organ, the trio demonstrate their passion for making music together and enjoys breaking new ground.
Caroline is joined by Andy Harris, playing a variety of different trumpets, and Fergus Black on the piano and organ. Andy is Music Leader for brass with Sheffield. Fergus is from Peterborough and is semi-retired: as he says, "I can choose to play in concerts I enjoy with people I like. And I like Sounds of Splendour very much. I'm sure you will, too.".
