Is this class suitable for beginners?

Though some aspects may be challenging, beginners are welcome! The level of the class will remain open to allow some range in the pace and complexity of the movement. Exercises will be adjusted to support present needs.

What kind of movement can I expect?

Hip Hop, House, and Contemporary dance will be the core vocabulary for this class. However, when improvising, you are free to use any style that helps you express yourself.

Light, breathable clothing that allows you to move and sweat freely, whilst supporting your comfort. Trainers or bare feet are encouraged (do assess what you prefer in person).

The studio is a 10-minute walk from Elephant & Castle station (Northern line, Bakerloo line, National Rail, Thameslink). Some pay & display parking is available nearby.

We can enter the space 5 minutes before the session begins. Only water to be consumed within the studios. We are near a residential area, please be mindful of noise on entry and exit.
