The kids, big and small, have gone back to school so we thought “why don't we join them?" And so off we go, back to Archives school...and you're invited along.

Have you ever wondered what it takes to become an Archivist? Have you wondered about the different places people can work as an Archivist, or the roles they can perform? If you have, then join us as we take a look at routes into the sector and where you could work once you get here.

But we're going further than that as well. Don't panic, we're not going to spend an hour revisiting the darkest recesses of archival theory and practices! We're more interested in shining a light on the skills and knowledge that are less taught, less appreciated, but arguably more common across all sector job descriptions.

So if you're wondering how you can expand your skillset, how you can get into the Archives profession, or simply interested to hear how utterly amazing Archivists are, this is a session for you.
