About this event
At London College of Communication (LCC), we’re helping Small-to-Medium-Enterprises (SMEs) to adapt and innovate through the Digital Grid Partnership.
The global pandemic has had a profound effect on businesses, changing the way organisations and their audiences operate while also introducing additional pressures.
This workshop aims to help businesses explore ways to reinvigorate their digital marketing strategy during the Covid era.
Join us for our latest free workshop, Back to the Future: Digital Marketing for SMEs, which will give you an overview of vital tools, practices and industry trends in just one day.
Through a mixture of lecture-based learning, case study analysis, practical exercises and peer feedback, you’ll develop your understanding of digital marketing and begin to build a digital marketing strategy for your business.
You’ll also get an opportunity to pitch your ideas and respond to a brief based on your organisation.
Topics covered will include:
- Branding
- Customer profiling
- Understanding UX web design
- Customer experience
- Social media
- Content marketing
- Digital PR
- Influencer marketing
- Affiliate marketing
- Email marketing
- Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)
- PPC (Pay-Per-Click)
- Digital advertising and events.
By the end of the day, you’ll be able to:
- Define clear business and marketing objectives, and undertake targeted market research to reach realistic marketing goals
- Understand the capabilities and compatibility of many digital marketing tactics, such as branding, PR, SEO and social media, and content marketing
- Understand how to reach new audiences or retain current customers
- Have a fresh perspective on the changing climate of digital communications.
This workshop will also prepare you for the second phase of the Digital Grid Partnership, where you’ll be given the opportunity to host a talented digital creative on a fully-subsidised placement for up to 105 hours. Their support can help your business adapt to contemporary ways of working.
“The workshop was fantastic in terms of thinking about different marketing methods and ways to connect with clients digitally - especially in light of the pandemic.
It covered so much in the time available and it was great to chat to likeminded colleagues from other businesses.” - Heather Blair, Sound and Music.
