Asset ownership can transform communities; bringing a range of social and economic benefits, not least of which is improving the long term sustainability of development trusts and community organisations.
How do we sort the assets from the liabilities and how can we assess which buildings and land will work best for our communities?
This practical workshop will re-evaluate what development trusts and community groups seek to gain from asset ownership, consider the key criteria for selecting assets, visit some local examples and explore ways of considering potential assets that can be used in your own communities.
Together we can look those gift horses squarely in the mouth!
