Bad Gays: A Live Podcast Recording with Shon Faye

Based on the hugely popular podcast series of the same name, Bad Gays offers an exploration of complicated and villainous queers. By profiling historical figures who have been overlooked in searches for more heroic icons, Huw Lemmey and Ben Miller ask what we can learn about LGBTQ identity from the bad gays of history: the emperors, artists, criminals and bon viveurs whose lives reveal more than we might expect.

To celebrate the launch of Bad Gays: A Homosexual History, Lemmey and Miller will be hosting a live recording of their podcast in Foyles Charing Cross Road. They will be joined by the writer, editor and broadcaster Shon Faye, whose landmark work The Transgender Issue is now available in paperback.

This event will be followed by a book signing. Doors will open from 6:30pm. Due to the nature of the event, we strongly advise arriving early.
