BAFA – South-East Area Group 2022 Annual Conference
FRIDAY, 10 June 2022
The organising committee of the BAFA – South-East Area Group (BAFA-SEAG) is pleased to announce its annual conference to be held at Brunel University London on Friday, 10 June 2022. The conference is organised in collaboration with the Accounting and Auditing Research Group at Brunel Business, supported by BAFA. The conference’s theme is on ‘Current Topics in Accounting and Finance Research’. Confirmed speakers are:
- Steven Balsam, Professor of Accounting and Senior Merves Research Fellow, Fox School of Business, Temple University
- Lucio Sarno, Professor of Finance, and JM Keynes Fellow in Financial Economics, Judge Business School, University of Cambridge
- Lakshmanan Shivakumar, Lord David Sainsbury of Turville Professor, Professor of Accounting, London Business School
- Radu Tunaru, Professor of Finance and Risk Management, Sussex Business School, University of Sussex
We invite submissions of original papers addressing research questions in all areas of accounting and finance research. There is no preference to any particular methodology or research area. We encourage submission of Job Market papers by final year PhD students.
FOUR papers will be selected for presentation and discussion during the conference.
SUBMISSION DEADLINE: May 15, 2022
Submission Guidelines:
An anonymous full paper (not to exceed 40 pages including abstract, appendices, figures, and tables) should be sent alongside a title page including names of authors and affiliation. All papers should be emailed to the BAFA-South East Area Group co-chairs: George Alexandrou (g.alexandrou@kingston.ac.uk) and Monomita Nandy (Monomita.nandy@brunel.ac.uk)

Registration for the conference is FREE for BAFA members only. To avoid any disappointment, please book your place latest by 17 May 2022.
