Join us to Learn to Sew a Simple Woven Tee.
This top is made from woven cotton or crepe fabric, with the edges finished with either matching or contrasting bias binding.
You will walk away with your beautiful made by you, for you Simple T-shirt, a unique garment that you can be proud to tell people you made yourself. Find your happy place in our sewing room at The Hub in Retford.
Janome 525s sewing machines and all tools will be provided.
To give you the widest choice and allow you to create something even more personal, fabric is not included for this workshop. (However full guidance will be given on fabric requirements on booking.)
Fabric requirements: 1.5m lightweight drapy woven fabric (crepe is ideal) & 2.5m bias binding.
You will create your t-shirt, made just for you from your own fabric. You can select the length of your t-shirt and the neckline to your own preference.
Patterns are made to the nearest size to your measurements, so on booking, please provide your measurements (bust, waist & hips). Your pattern is available for you to buy on the day for £10.
Tea, coffee & biscuits will be provided, but please bring your lunch as sewing is hungry work. (Lunch can be purchased at the Hub.)
