Pilates class in Manchester Square in partnership with Total Chi

We're delighted to team up with Total Chi, the chic studio based at the north end of Baker Street, to host four exclusive hour long Pilates classes in the majestic Manchester Square Garden.

Join us for a fun mat-based Pilates class which will also incorporate small equipment such as stretch bands and balls to keep you challenged. Going through a mixture of dynamic exercises, we will start by warming up and mobilising the different joints in the body, then move on to work on our deep muscles inside the abdominals, toning and strengthening the body. Winding down the class with lengthening exercises will mean you will leave the class feeling relaxed, balanced, with an improved posture and better flexibility. Suitable for mixed abilities but not recommended for absolute beginners. Mats will be provided but feel free to bring your own.


This is a public event as part of our social and well-being programme aimed at those who live and work in Marylebone. Tickets are non refundable. The price of the tickets has been set to help cover our costs of running the events. During the session we may take pictures for promotional use, if you do not wish to be captured please let us know in advance.

 Attending the class

Please be ready at the above start time and meeting point. We are unable to provide lockers. If you are attending for the first time you must complete and return a Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire (PAR-Q) prior to attending, failure to do so will result in you not being able to take part. Completed forms should be shown to the instructor at your first session. Download a PAR-Q here.

The sessions are designed to gradually improve cardiovascular fitness, muscular fitness and flexibility. In doing so it is necessary that you will work at a higher level of exertion compared to your everyday activity. You may therefore experience quicker breathing, increased heart rate and increased stress on joints and muscles. You may become hot and sweaty, and experience some short-term muscle soreness on the days following training.

All reasonable steps will be taken to ensure that activities are safe and effective and that risk of injury is minimised. If at any time you feel any pain or discomfort, stop performing the activity and inform your trainer.

Please inform your trainer if you feel that for any reason you should not perform any of the activities in the programme (such as illness or injury that could be aggravated by such activity).
