Baking or pastry masterclass for 4 persons

Bring 3 friends and have a fun few hours learning new skills together. All ingredients and refreshments recipes and aprons for use on the day are provided and you can cook which ever of the following topics you choose. Come again and choose a different topic. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Please bring containers to take home your goodies.

Cakes - Throw away packet mixes and learn to make your own Victoria sandwish or turn this into a lemon drizzle, coffee and walnut, chocolate or orange pound cake
Sweet pastry make individual almond frangipan or a lemon or chocolate tart. learn to make a versatile french flan pastry, line a pastry case, bake blind and various fillings such as frangipan, manchester tart or chocolate tart
Shortcrust pastry make a traditional shortcrust pastry and take home a choice of sausage rolls, pasties or cheese and potato pie. learn how to make pastry, roll out and make into shapes
Choux pastry Learn the art of choux pastry and turn it into eclairs or profiteroles. Learn the failing points to avoid and then the many sweet and savoury dishes you can achieve with this achievable and versatile pastry
Meringues and macrooons - Learn the secrets of a good meringue and how to adapt flavours, shapes and even macaroons. You will learn to pipe and make quenelles then take home meringue shells, macaroons or a meringue roulade
Roulades - Master rolling a roulade and learn how to adapt the flavours and fillings to suit. from savoury spinach to chocolate or almond to coffee.
