Description

It is with literary bliss ( pun intended :)) that we bring to the Buea Community an event they've never seen before. The kind that word lovers only dream about and writers live for- a cross country partnership and exhange - from Lagos to Buea.

IYA is proud to host the 2nd edition of the Bakwa Magazine Reading Series, on May 13th, 2017, at 2pm.

The Bakwa Magazine Reading Series is a public quarterly event which brings together a wide selection of writers, translators, editors and poets, and connects them to various local communities by hosting events in different cities.

The 2nd edition, which is within the framework of the Nigeria/Cameroon Literary Exchange Programme, is in partnership with Saraba magazine and the Goethe-Institut in Cameroon and Nigeria. It will feature Cameroonian and Nigerian writers, who will read fiction excerpts.
