Description

Balancing Acts

Balancing Acts is all about sharing women's stories and perspectives through the power of comedy. This event, sponsored by the University of Nottingham, will feature a diverse line up of women from the university who will make us laugh while raising money for charity.

This event will be hosted by Shalaka Kurup, comedian and PhD student at the University of Nottingham.

If that isn't enough for you, we also have a headline act: Tanyalee Davis.

” Joan Rivers meets a Pile driver ” – The Scotsman
‘A captivating piece of comedy” – The Edinburgh Reporter

Doors open at 6.30pm with the show starting at 7pm.

Charity

Please note there is a booking fee when purchasing a ticket from Eventbrite. All ticket revenue will be donated to the Nottingham Women's Centre.

If you wish to donate sanitary products, The Free Period will be collecting donations during this event which will then be distributed to local food banks and organisations.
