About this event

  • 2 hours

This will be a short guided walk from the car parking area at the entrance to Balblair woods at Loch Fleet, Golspie. From the path we will be able to see the beautiful woodland wildflowers One-flowered wintergreen and Twinflower. These flowers are particularly rare in Scotland today as they are ancient native pinewood specialists, they are not worth missing!

We ask for donations for this event to help with our work, which goes towards education about and protection of the nature of the Highlands. Please give what you feel you can afford. We suggest a minimum donation of £5 per person to cover our costs or £10 per person to further support our work.

*please be aware that there is a required £1 minimum donation. This covers Eventbrite fees and does not go to the Ranger service.*
