Sunday, 5th May 2019

From 2pm to 10pm ish

At Wenffrwd, Llansilin, SY10 7PZ

Please park at Llansilin village car park, adjacent to the village hall. Walk through the village past the pub and church. Doors open at 1.30pm for a prompt start at 2pm.

Join Helen East, Rick Wilson and Kate Allan for an afternoon walk and making songs/stories to share after supper.

Helen has been in the vanguard of the regeneration of storytelling in the UK for 40 years. Well respected as performer and workshop leader for both adults and young people, she has conducted sessions worldwide and instigated many influential projects. She is also the author of some 70 book titles.

Rick specialises in all things percussive and has an extensive history of touring and recording with a wide variety of artists. Equally at home as either performer or tutor, he blends his knowledge and experience of learning non-European traditions with his own original take on playing and teaching.

Kate is a freelance singer, songwriter and improviser who works on music and health projects for clients including the NHS and facilitates improvisation workshops. In 2014, she set up Wild Singing, a free, leaderless group for people who like to find unusual (‘wild’) places to bring and share songs they love.
