Ballet fit is a new, exciting, group-fitness class, combining the techniques of classical ballet, contemporary yoga and mat pilates.
A Ballet fit class is a complete fat-burning workout, targeting all major muscle groups. Ballet fit classes are suitable for all levels of fitness and no ballet or dance experience is required.
Ballet fit Instructor Training Workshop Level 1
The Level 1 course provides the foundation to teach Ballet fit to adults (16+). Students will learn basic ballet positions, exercises, steps and sequences. Students will receive the Level 1 Ballet fit manual, all exercises and choreography and learn how to plan and structure a class. The workshop is fully endorsed by Skills Active and attracts 6 REPs points for qualified Exercise to Music instructors.
Prerequisite: Level 2 exercise to music qualification or equivalent. A good level of fitness is required.
Students will receive the following:
- Complete training manual
- All exercises and choreography
- Promotional Posters & Leaflets
- Ballet fit certificate of completion
- One year Ballet fit Standard License
The Ballet fit syllabus incorporates the following elements:
- Stretch, cool down and relaxation
On completion of the course, students will receive a Ballet fit Instructor Certificate and will be qualified to teach the Level 1 Ballet fit programme.
Qualified Level 2 Exercise to Music instructors will receive 6 REPs points.
