Join us for a bookbinding workshop with artist, Kath Bell.

Using a variety of artist papers you will be taught how to use the French link stitch technique to create a beautiful, practical book.

French link stitch bookbinding is a technique where sections are sewn together with an "X" stitch, creating a decorative and functional binding with an exposed spine. This stitch allows the book to lie flat when opened.

The workshop is suitable for beginners and a great introduction to bookbinding.

Kath Bell is a print and book artist who as well as creating and selling her own work, teaches print and book binding techniques in art schools and community settings.

All materials and equipment will be provided on the day.

Refreshments will be provided. Please advise us of any dietary requirements or allergies.

Suitable for ages 12+

Please note we cannot offer refunds on this event.
