Choral Music from the Baltic Region
Two choirs - The Esterhazy Singers of London and Danish choir Randers Bykor
Following their successful joint performance at the Randers Festival in Denmark, the London-based Esterhazy Singers, and the Randers Bykor choir from Denmark join forces in London to perform a highly original programme of choral music from the Baltic region.
The concert will feature choral music not widely heard in London, by composers from a number of Baltic countries, including Henryk Górecki, Edvard Grieg, Jan Sandström and Knut Nystedt.
The Esterhazy Singers, directed by Esther Jones and Randers Bykor, directed by Lotte Glæsel, will give individual and joint performances in what promises to be an exceptional evening of music making.
