Join us for the 3rd London Met Voice Network event, where invited panel guest share their thoughts on race in Higher Education. All students and staff are welcome to attend!

Dr Christine CallenderDr Christine Callender - Associate Professor, Learning and Leadership

UCL Institute of Education

Christine has taught on a range of teacher education and Master's programmes at the IOE and elsewhere. She is currently the Institute of Education Faculty Lead for the BME Awarding Gap Project and is the co-convenor of the Race and Leadership Special Interest Group of BELMAS.

 

 

 


 

Dr Zainab Khan

Dr Zainab Khan -  Associate Pro Vice-Chancellor  for Attainment, Equity &  Inclusion

London Metropolitan University

Dr Zainab Khan joined London Metropolitan University in September 2019 as Associate Pro Vice Chancellor for Student Attainment, Equity and Inclusion. She is leading work at the University to establish a new Centre for Equity & Inclusion.  She has held a number of academic leadership roles and was previously a Faculty Director at UWE Bristol. Whilst at UWE Bristol, Zainab created and led Equity, one of UK Higher Education’s largest positive action race equality programmes.  


 

 

 

Dr Charles Prince Dr Charles PrinceDirector of the Centre for Student Success

UEL

Dr. Charles B. W. Prince is the Director of the Centre for Student Success at the University of East London. He has a doctoral degree from the University of Southern California. His background is in student success, retention and international higher education. Dr. Prince has published books,articles and opinion pieces on these topics and has been featured on various panels and podcasts. Recently, Dr. Prince has worked as a consultant for EdTech companies and Higher Education Authorities in Ireland, U.S. and the U.K. You can follow him on LinkedIn or Twitter @DrCharlesLeads.
