From the Surrey badlands they came: outlaws, desperadoes, soldiers of fortune, and a soprano cruelly denied the West End break she so richly deserved...united by a common cause: to put the FUN back into 'fundamentally inappropriate for (wo)men of their age' and the ROCK into 'I've never seen such a crock in my life'.
Thrown together by capricious fate, and a lack of available alternatives in the Farnham area, they exist as fugitives under assumed identities: publishers, software magnates, surgeons and, er, management consultants: Alastair 'Bomber' Harris, Pete 'Best' Morris, Al 'Birdy' Bird, Paul 'Bones' Redman and the incomparable (it says here) Tricia 'Mimi' Dufay.
If you want to party like it's 1989, and think you're hard enough, join BAND ON THE RUM for a night to remember (although like Madchester, if you can remember it, you probably weren't really there...) Gluttons for punishment should pitch up early doors for grunge-folk support act 2B1C (SO hot right now...) featuring Al Bird and Tricia Duffy, to help you get your freak on.
