The Banff Mountain Film Festival features an exhilarating selection of short films that will take you to the most captivating places on earth. Through the big screen be transported to the world's last great wild places, follow the expeditions of some of today's most incredible adventurers, see amazing footage of adrenaline-packed action sports and be inspired by thought provoking pieces shot from the far flung corners of the globe. An exciting event not to be missed with free prize giveaways!
Two entirely different film programmes will be featured in Abingdon on the 2017 Banff Tour - the RED and BLUE programmes. The RED PROGRAMME will be shown at Amey Theatre on 21 February and the BLUE PROGRAMME will be shown on 5 April.
The film programme may contain coarse language and is recommended for ages 12 and above.
Films start at 7:30pm. There is a bar that will be open from 6:30pm serving drinks.

Tickets are non-refundable. Unallocated seating. Please bring along your confirmation voucher, which will be your ticket for the evening. For concession tickets, please bring along proof of your concession eligibility along on the evening.

Please note if you are driving that there is only very limited parking on the school site just to the south of Park Road (opposite the school entrance). Other nearby parking is available in one of the many free nearby car parks in Abingdon - the nearest car park locations are shown at this link HERE and are a 5 to 10 minute walk from the theatre. Please note the Charter Multi-storey car park is closed at 7:30pm so you should not park in that car park.
