Visit the magical and explosive world of pyrotechnic science.

Find out about the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) behind firework display operation and see how colours, sound effects and perfectly timed bursts are created.

Join professional pyrotechnician Matthew Tosh as he lifts the lid on the serious science behind the effects that wow audiences all over the world.

Matthew's expert skill will bring firework effects indoors in a lecture that is guaranteed to be fiery, exciting and occasionally smelly.

This event is particularly suitable for ages 7+

The doors will open at approximately 5.30pm, with a prompt start at 6.00pm. There will be time for questions after the talk.
