Yes! All artistic abilities welcome.

Are venues accessible?

All venues are assessed for accessibility and can be advised on a case-by-case basis, if you have restricted mobility or a wheelchair please get in touch.

Are there toilets on site?

Generally, venues are selected to have toilet facilities on site or within a 5 minute walk. On occasion, out in the wild, this may not be possible but this will be advised.

What materials do I need?

Artists generally prefer to have their own sketchbook, and a simple pen or pencil is absolutely fine. However paper/clipboards can be provided if arranged in advance, and artists can bring as elaborate a setup as they wish. Participants are responsible for safe use of materials and equiment.

The club has a charter and code of conduct that members and visiting artists are required to abide by. It's all standard stuff and includes things like photography too - please see the event page to read it.

Join us for this month's sketch walk in Bangor/the surrounding area. Please see Bangor Sketch Club instagram/Jenni Robinson Art website for planned activities.

Meet with a friendly, likeminded group of artists. Everyone is welcome, there is no pressure to share your drawings (although we love it) and there is tuition available if you would like it. We visit a mix of coast, woodland, urban, cafe, garden, heritage and whatever other interesting locations we can think of!

BYO materials or borrow Jenni's - just let her know.

This site is for visiting artist tickets - if you think you'll attend 4 or more sessions in a year, you may wish to purchase annual membership (18+ yrs) for unlimited attendances instead.

Junior visiting artist tickets (for age 12-17) may be purchased alongside an adult ticket, or by an attending BSC member. Juniors may not attend unaccompanied, as we do not have planned capacity to ensure safeguarding policies could be met week to week.
