BANISH EXAM STRESS – ace exams by staying calm
- Ever walked into an exam room thinking you’ve forgotten everything you know?
- Do you panic, get butterflies in your stomach or feel like crying just before, or during an exam?
- Do you become withdrawn or want to hide away at exam time
What if you could walk into your exams calmly, knowing that you will be able to focus and recall the information you need easily?
The Key to exam success is: STAYING COOL, CALM AND COLLECTED
Research has shown that it is more difficult to recall information and more likely for your mind to go blank if you are feeling anxious. By keeping calm and focused, you can read and understand the questions more clearly and recall more information. With a little guidance, you will learn a technique to help you feel calm and stay focused before and during your exams.
In this 2 hour interactive workshop, you will:
- identify the thoughts that make you feel nervous or anxious
- explore ways to feel less anxious
- understand what your ‘triggers’ look and feel like
- identify how you can focus more
This workshop is for students 15 years or older, who feel anxious about taking exams. It’s for anyone who wants to be able to do their best and feel relaxed and focused throughout their revision and exams.
