Event description

Description

This walk, part of the Literary Footprints Festival is about books that have been banned in London. From political books like Thomas Paine's The Rights of Man to pornography like John Cleland's Fanny Hill there have frequently been restrictions on what Londoners can read. The walk will discuss why the books were banned, and what the consequences were, intended or otherwise.

The walk ends at St Pauls Tube station
