The main aim of the project is to contribute to the development of IT professionals in emerging tech countries and empower the local tech community.
The format is super easy: 3 lightning talks from the experts, snacks & drinks, presents, a lot of productive networking, and only 50 free seats available!
- When? June 17, 7 PM
- How? Offline
- Where? Sofia, Bulgaria
- Language of the meetup? English
The topic of the first-ever meetup: “BA+PM+DEV team: how to build the synergy”.
Sometimes roles in the development teams are mixed. Developers perform the Project Manager’s job or Project Managers complete not only PM’s tasks but also Business Analyst responsibilities. Such situations affect overall project success. To make the development process and communication with the customer more efficient, we need clearly distributed roles of the PM, BA, and Dev team in the project.
During the meetup we will talk about:
- How a Business Analyst can make the development process easier
- Why and how the PM’s and BA’s roles should be distributed
- PM tools and best practices for efficient communication with BA and the team
- How to show the BA’s role value to the client and integrate the first BA into the project
The agenda of the meetup:
- 18:30 — 19:00 — Registration, welcome drinks, and networking
- 19:00 — 19:05 — "Hey yo" words from organizers
- 19:05 — 19:35 — Stoyan Atanasov with the topic “How crucial is the BA role in an IT Project"
- 19:35 — 19:45 — Short Break
- 19:45 — 20:10 — Eleonora Budanova “BA+PM+DEV team: how to build the synergy” — Part 1
- 20:10 — 20:35 — Elena Turkenych “BA+PM+DEV team: how to build the synergy” — Part 2
- 20:35 — 21:45 — Joint Q&A for Eleonora & Elena

Danir Group is an entrepreneurial company owned by the Dan Olofsson family. Danir was founded in 1986, and our role is to own and develop our companies while contributing to a better society. We do this through entrepreneurship, long-term commitment and community involvement.
The TechBuzz meetup is organised in a partnership with Femmegineering project, an initiative that aims to build a female programmers community by launching educational events, providing free access to IT education and mentorship by industry leaders, as well as organizing hackathons and sharing career stories of female engineers on a Femmengineering platform. Founded by Danir Group in Sweden, Femmegineering aims to contribute to a more equal technology industry by making female role models more visible and creating an inclusive environment where they are equipped with the tools and resources to build successful careers in the tech sector. Sigma Software Group decided to take the initiative to a new level and scale it to the emerging European countries. Since most of the refugees who fled from Ukraine are women and are sole breadwinners for their families, this initiative will practically help families affected by the war by creating job opportunities for women.
