Description

Baptist Assembly in Scotland - Evening Celebration

Gazing on God’s Glory

Why not join members of the Baptist family from all over Scotland to celebrate the wonder of God and hear stories of his work around the world. We are delighted to be able to make available 200 free tickets for this year's Assembly evening celebrations in Glenrothes.  Please only book seats that you are able to use. We expect a full venue on each occasion. Those already booked as full delegates do not need to book an evening ticket.

This year, we will be considering the inspiration of an unsurpassable revelation of God’s glory as we gaze on the glory of God revealed in Christ through His servanthood, love, mercy and sacrifice. We will discover that, far from passive, this “gazing” upon Christ’s service and sacrifice shapes us as disciples, spurring us on to mission and service in our own communities.

Our evening celebrations are always great times of inspiring sung worship, teaching and fellowship together.

Thursday Night - sung worship led by Amie Aitken and Band;  a performance from Fool Proof Theatre Company; contributions from our friends at BMS World Mission; an inspirational message from Didi Oprenova, Vice-President of the Baptist World Alliance and a time of Communion together.

Friday Night - Amie Aitken and Band will lead us in sung worship; we will welcome newly accredited ministers; commissioning of our new Convenor as well as our new Council and Trustee members; message from Alan Donaldson, BUS General Director and stories from our churches.

Please book your FREE tickets for the Thursday night, Friday night - or both!
