Description

The annual BAQUA convention serves as a knowledge sharing and networking gathering of the Aquaponics Sector.Connecting participants with latest aquaponics industry updates, initiatives, resources and tools.

We focus on disseminating state of the art technology and research, market trends, key challenges and showcasing inspirational initiatives and face-to-face networking.

The convention provides networking towards the initiation of business collaborations, demonstration projects, technology partnerships and open source data sharing as well as actively matchmaking synergies and partnerships to shape this emergent industry.




Friday 8th December: Aquaponics Training Workshop

Following the sell out success of previous year's trainings with Dr Wilson Lennard (2015), Antonio Paladino (2016). Session Leadership Provision TBC.

This takes place on Friday 8th December at Green Lab and includes a delicious lunch. There are VERY LIMITED PLACES and this event always sells out fast. So please confirm yours ASAP (additional charges for this session - see ticketing information)

10:30 - Paul Bavister (Flanagan Lawrence) and Fred Labbe (Expedition) invite you to explore their World Architecture Forum Shortlisted Aquaponics Proposal

11:00 - AQUADEMICS: a look at 2017 the state-of-the-art in research + poster competition and presentations & AQUASCHOOLS-We are pleased to announce AquaRoots will be giving a session at this year's convention on School-systems! Including info on integrating your project with KS 1-4 and British Science Association CREST scheme - the only nationally recognised accreditation scheme for STEM project work (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) subjects, providing science enrichment activities to inspire and engage 5-to-19-year olds.

Our annual conferences aim to:

  • enable members to overcome specific operational issues through access to specific information and expert guidance
