About this event
Barbara’s Story As Occupational Therapy professionals, we are aware of Dementia and it’s impact on day to day living. However, what is it like for an individual who is in the inpatient system with dementia? - Could you imagine being in an alien environment, possibly scared, disorientated, confused and unaware of where your loved ones are?
Devised by the Guys and St Thomas NHS trust and to increase Dementia Awareness in OT week we will deliver to you ‘Barbara’s Story’; along with networking and opportunities for discussion. Presenter: Helen Griffiths; Dementia Champion and Occupational Therapist within Cardiff and Vale.
