Embark with Pepus on a leisurely stroll to discover Barcelona’s exciting Medieval Town District, which started with and elegant Roman Colony 2000 years ago. Let’s ramble on La Rambla with the Boqueria Food Market, Opera House Liceu, pass by Heritage Stores and Art Galleries, see the 2000 years old Roman Walls, Gothic Cathedral, Town Hall and the Catalonian Government Building.
Join us on Kings Square where tradition locates Christopher Columbus being welcomed by the Catholic Monarchs and cheering crowds, upon returning from his discovery of a new world! We will also share the secrets of Barcelona in the middle ages, the “pooping shepherd” tradition and… let's just say, Pepus will reserve a couple of hidden treasures to top off the tour for you!
What to expect
Get ready for something special. We're travelling to Barcelona with no passport, no plane ticket and no luggage. And yet you'll experience all the sights, sounds and stories with just your laptop, favorite snack and amazing guide.
The tour will last about 30 mins and will be live-streamed by your guide directly from Barcelona. Forget about slideshows or pre-recorded videos, this is a live broadcast and anything can happen!
While on the tour you’ll be able to interact with your guide through our live chat. You can use it to ask questions, chat to co-travellers and make comments (oohs, aahhs, ❤️, 👌 and 😂 are all encouraged).
If you think your guide did a good job you’ll be able to let them know with a tip 😊
*Please note that even if you received an Eventbrite confirmation, you will need to register and book the tour on www.virtualtrips.io to be officially confirmed.
