Barefoot Festival 2021

After missing out last festival season you can be sure we're going to make this one extra special!

This will be the last Barefoot Festival so be sure not to miss out beacuse tickets will sell out!

Now in it's 15th and final year, Barefoot Festival is a unique and intimate gathering of beautiful souls in the Leicestershire Countryside.

Held in the grounds of Prestwold Hall, close to Nottingham, Leicester and Loughborough, we pride ourselves on being a fun filled family friendly event with something for everyone!

From Burlesque to Hoola Hooping, we have a full line up of fantstaic bands and musicians and our a famous Fire Show with fire breathers, body burners and flame spinners!

Children's entertainment is on all week end, we have a dedicated Arts and Crafts tent with upcycling, crafting, art making and doing and learning new skills! Full list of all workshops will be available on our website closer to the time of the event. If you want to unwind we have our healing tent with full program of classes with every type of yoga you can think of, holistic and well being sessions, fortune tellers, massage, gong baths, family and childrens yoga and our exclusively womens space The Red Tent.

We have some of the most entertaining bands & muscians playing over the weekend in our band tent, see our website for a full published program.

We believe happy kids equal happy mums and dads! There is a bursting program for children with family yoga & movement workshops, dance activities and arts and crafts, parades and family cinema before bed time, story telling, poetry, forest school activities and a communal campfire for roasting marshmallows under the stars.

We aim to totally blow your socks off!!

Friday and Saturday see our fabulous Cabaret & Burlesque Shows with the creme de la creme of the Burlesque world all in our wonderful Big Top. With aerial performances and magical entertainment, comedy, spoken word and live music and fully licensed bar open until late. Please bring a picnic blanket or mat to sit on.

We encourage you to get involved by providing a comfortable and exciting space to try new things. We have Big Tops, Tipis, Yurts and Indian Wedding Tents so whatever the British weather throws at us the show still goes on!

The weekend will see talented and experienced teachers presenting workshops in everything from crochet to trapeze, belly dance and capoeira, street dance and fire dancing! We have dedicated healing field with healing, willow sculptures, beautiful chilled spaces to relax, henna artists and face painters and an amazing selction of Street Food sellers serving food from around the world for all tastes and dietry requirements . We have a fully licensed bar serving fizz, cocktails, cold beer and real ales.

Join us for a week of getting back to the basics - we are Barefoot by name and Barefoot by nature - we arent over commercialised and support small and local businesses and artisits and plough profits back into improving our event. Independently run and unique!

There are restrictions on the amount of alcohol that can be bought into the event. NO GLASS PERMITTED ONSITE. Random bag searches may be applied at the gate. Management refuse the right to entry at all times.
