Barley in a world of climate change and food system transformation
Event Information
About this event
The International Barley Hub is pleased to announce the first in the 2022 series of seminars, run by leading barley scientists and industry experts. This seminar is titled "All Change: Barley in a world of climate change and food system transformation" and will be delivered by Mike Rivington. This seminar will be recorded and posted on the IBH website after the event.
The presentation will cover barley modelling and other climate change impacts work (updated since the SWRI project) as well as covering some of the aspects touched on in the UKRI project ‘UK food and nutrition security during and after the COVID-19 pandemic’. The idea is to paint a picture of the future under which barely and other crop / food systems research might need to align to.
